3 Ideas to Drive Your Summer Beer Sales Into Fall

July 1, 2024 by Margaret Sotrop – We know your beer sales are going well now, so why not keep that momentum rolling past football season’s kick-off and all the way to Thanksgiving? Here are some cost-effective promotional ideas that are sure to capture your beer customers’ attention and generate repeat business.
3 Ideas to Drive Your Summer Beer Sales Into Fall
  1. Digital projectors – Draw attention to your beer cooler with promotional messages where your shoppers least expect to see them. Combine your wayfinding with a promotional message on a customer facing wall or floor space. Consider a fun projection promotion with one of your beer distributors. Check out how our friends at TXB use a simple digital projector to make a brand message outside their beer cave.
  2. Beer Cave Destination – Beer caves seem like “old news” but we’ve been in plenty of NTIs this year where they haven’t caught on. Brand your beer cave with an appropriate name and graphics that fit your stores’ style. It can be both a cool destination and a convenient form of “grab & go” for your shoppers. Use inviting indoor and outdoor store signage to increase visibility and entice customers to visit the beer cave. We’ve heard of a debate brewing over the right temperature of a beer cave. Is 28F too cold? Some say it is.
  3. Mix and Match Six-Packs– We’ve seen lots of branded beverage carriers in the last year for beer, fountain and wine. We’re talking about the “pick-six” type of carrier where shoppers make their own. We’ve got a bunch of ideas for exciting promotions for shoppers to bring back their pick six-pack carrier, or wine 4-pack carrier.

So what do you think…is 28 degrees Fahrenheit too cold for the beer cave?
