“Thorntons General Managers Conference 2012”
The 2012 Thorntons General Managers Conference theme and campaign was designed and produced by GSP’s Design Services team to brand Thorntons yearly conference. The “Refreshing Convenience” idea was inspired by Thorntons prototype store direction, and the GM of the Year signage was inspired by GQ magazine covers with each GM finalist as the cover celebrity. To create impact in the conference center venue, GSP designed a variety of large signage.
American Graphic Design Award
“Tom Thumb Craft Beer POP Signage”
The Tom Thumb Craft Beer POP Signage was also designed and produced by GSP to create a “go to destination” for Tom Thumb’s craft beer selection to increase customer traffic and craft beer sales. Large three-dimensional contour-cut beer glass and barrel graphics were designed to create impact and improve visibility from the front door. The design incorporated hand-crafted style elements to convey the craft beer look and feel.
POPAI OMA Bronze Award
“Modular Menu System”
The Modular Menu System was designed and developed by GSP’s Design Services team for a large, national grocery retailer to create an eye-catching destination for fresh and inviting meals in the bakery, deli and bistro categories. The Modular Menu System incorporates an innovative “frameless” curved design that provides snap in graphics for store personnel to easily change out menu offerings and pricing specials. It is modular for different configurations and the graphic inserts were designed to be clearly legible and to communicate the menu effectively
