GSP Acquires High Volume Fabric Printers With Broad Color Range
Leading edge equipment serves more clients with wider fabric selection
CLEARWATER, Fla., Oct. 14, 2024 – GSP announced today that the company has acquired new dye sublimation printers for the company’s plant in Madison, WI. GSP customers will enjoy even faster turn times with a wider range of colors, across a wider assortment of fabrics including options for sustainable graphics.
The high-speed MS JP4 Hybrid Dye Sublimation printers, from Canon Solutions America, accommodate printing jobs up to 3.2 meters in width, managing up to 3,390 square feet per hour. The printers’ output capabilities include paper-to-fabric transfer or direct-to-fabric. The MS JP4 units accommodate a wider range of materials, including polyester and blended fabrics which provides customers more options to lower shipping costs and carbon footprints.
GSP is one of the first companies to ascertain G7 print quality excellence from Idealliance, the global standard-setting industry group that established specifications for consistency in both colors and gray-scales. The MS JP4 Hybrid Dye Sublimation printers will also be calibrated to these exacting standards that ensure brand consistent results across all substrates.
“GSP continues to advance the large-format options for retailers to meet the requirements demanded in sophisticated retail spaces,” said Elaine Scrima, Executive Vice President of Operations. “As the science of retail displays becomes more technical, we continue to raise the bar in the solutions we can provide the industry, while maintaining quality, with domestic production, lower shipping costs and lower carbon footprints.”
