SGIA Print Awards, October 2014
GSP earned three awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze from the Specialty Graphic Image Association in their annual competition.
SGIA Gold Print Award
“Eye Screen Print”
“Eye” screen print entry received Gold award in the SGIA Golden Image Awards for the Fine Arts, True Process Color category. This process produces a wider color spectrum, eliminates the tonal rosette pattern and closely mimics a more continuous tone print for best-in-class output.
SGIA Silver Print Award
“Disco Ball Print”
“Disco Ball” screen print entry received Silver award in the SGIA Golden Image Awards competition for the Fine Arts, True Process Color category. The flamenco single angle screening separation method was used. This process produces a wider color spectrum, eliminates the tonal rosette pattern and closely mimics a more continuous tone print for best-in-class output.
