GSP's Elaine Scrima to Speak at WFX Conference

Women In Print Pioneer Will Discuss Digital Print Experience

Clearwater, Fla., May 22, 2018 – GSP, a leading provider of retail services, is proud to announce that VP of Operations Elaine Scrima will be speaking at the WFX conference on wide-format printing in Minneapolis on Tuesday, May 22. The WFX conference is presented by the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) and features evolving technology initiatives as well as thought-provoking speakers specifically for executives from high-volume, wide-format print providers.

Elaine was selected to be part of the Women In Print panel. As a recipient of Big Picture magazine’s annual Women in Print Award, she will discuss the ever-changing world of digital printing and share her experience as a successful leader. Elaine will talk about how she got her start at GSP and how she rose to become one of only a handful of female executives in the printing industry.

Under Elaine’s leadership, GSP has won more than a dozen SGIA Golden Image Awards for attention to detail and print quality. “We’re so proud of Elaine,” said Kevin Farley, GSP’s Chief Operations Officer. “She leads a team of 400 located across our three production facilities in Madison, Wisconsin; Provo, Utah; and Clearwater. Our Brand Story

GSP started as a printing company in1978. We found our niche supplying in-store signage for convenience stores when retailers guessed quantities they needed. This led to overage, waste and expense. To solve this, we developed software to guarantee on-time delivery of “the right size sign, to the right store, every time.”

In 2014, we started AccuStore with a dedicated team. As software helped drive our growth, we realized that new printing and fulfillment sites near customers could drive business and improve sustainability. We acquired companies that fit GSP’s technical excellence and superior customer service models.

First was Great Big Pictures in Madison, WI in 2015. They lead the field in large format printing and visual merchandising for iconic fashion retailers. Their standards for customer service include award-winning sustainability programs, and expertise to bolster retail environments services.

In 2020, GSP acquired Custom Color in Lenexa, KS. The company supplies printed graphics to leading retailers. Custom Color’s stellar quality in fabric printing also aligns with GSP’s values.
