GSP'S ERIKA ESCOBAR NAMED ONE OF THE TOP WOMEN IN CONVENIENCE

Clearwater, Fla., May 10, 2017 – GSP, a leading provider of retail services, is proud to announce today that Key Account Manager Erika Escobar has been selected as one of Convenience Store News‘ Top Women in Convenience for 2017.

Erika is among 50 female industry leaders to be recognized for their achievements of the past 12 months including innovation in implementing corporate initiatives, extraordinary financial and strategic accomplishments, problem-solving acumen, exceptional performance and involvement in the community.

Now in its fourth year, The Top Women in Convenience program was created to recognize the achievements of women in convenience store retailing. Honorees are selected based on nominations from their peers in three categories: senior-level executives, store managers and rising stars. Judging is done in conjunction with the Network of Executive Women (NEW) and the 2017 Top Women in Convenience Advisory Board. Erika is being honored as a rising star making her mark on the industry.

As key account manager, Erika leads the charge in leveraging GSP’s technology and retail expertise to coordinate, manage and execute store-specific marketing for the industry’s largest players. She has been with GSP since 2012.

“After receiving numerous internal awards for her achievements, we’re proud that the industry is recognizing Erika for her efforts, too,” said Geoff Neuhoff, GSP’s CEO. “She embodies the GSP values of passion, integrity and excellence every day, especially in her commitment to her clients.”

Convenience Store News will spotlight the 2017 Top Women in Convenience winners in its August issue and formally present the awards at an October celebration in Chicago.
